    Get the Straightline Canvas app on your phone. It guides you through a simple capture of your boat — no measuring tape, no templates, no guesswork.

  2. Walk around your boat

    With your boat parked and rigged the way you keep it, walk a slow lap with your smartphone. The guided capture records every detail — trolling motor, consoles, seats, and all.

  3. Upload to Straightline

    Send your capture to our system right from the app. Our cover team reviews every upload and uses your boat’s real shape to design the cover in CAD.

  4. Get your custom cover

    We cut and sew your cover in our shop with the same laser-precision, automated-cutting process we use for boat manufacturers — then ship it to you.

Built for bass boats

Frequently asked questions

Is this only for bass boats?

No. Bass boats — especially fiberglass bass boats and tournament rigs — are our specialty and where the process shines, but the same app workflow works for nearly any boat you can walk around. Any boat, anywhere in the world.

Do I need special equipment?

You need an iPhone 15 Pro or newer — it must be a Pro model, because the capture relies on the LiDAR sensor those phones carry. Beyond that, just your boat and a few minutes to walk around it. The app guides you through the rest.

What happens after I upload?

Your capture lands in our system, where our cover team reviews it. We use your boat’s real shape to design the cover in CAD, then cut and sew it in our Missouri shop with our automated cutting process. This isn’t an instant, untouched pipeline — experienced cover builders check every upload before anything gets built.

Can I use this if I’m not in Missouri?

Yes — that’s the point. You no longer need to bring your boat to our shop for a true custom fit. Capture your boat wherever it is, upload it, and we’ll build your cover here in Battlefield, MO and ship it to you.

What material are the covers made from?

Our covers are built from Hydrofend®, a marine-grade polyester woven from durable monofilament yarn. It delivers up to six times the water resistance of uncoated fabrics while staying breathable, handles temperatures down to -40°F, and carries a 5-year limited warranty. Stock colors: Bold Black, Military Tan, Admiral Navy, Olympic Blue, Meteor Grey, and Iron Grey.

What if my boat has a trolling motor, dual consoles, electronics, or other accessories?

That’s exactly what this process is built for. Your walkaround capture records your boat as it actually sits — trolling motor, consoles, graphs, seats, outboard, jack plate and all — so the cover is designed around those details instead of ignoring them.
